Released — likely registrable
The Verisign registry has no record of this name and it is absent from the .com zone. Reserved or registry-premium names can still block a registration, so confirm at your registrar.

Where a name goes when it’s let go.
Almost none of this shows up in a registrar’s search box. We follow every step and show you the registry’s own words, with when we last checked.
Day 0
Expiry
The term ends. For .com, .net and .org the registry auto-renews it on the spot — routine, not the owner renewing.
Days 0–45
Grace
The owner can still renew. Many registrars auction expired names here, weeks before any drop.
30 days
Redemption
The registrar has deleted it. The old owner can still buy it back, at a premium.
5 days
Pending delete
Locked. Nobody can renew or restore it. The registry releases it on schedule.

Questions people ask.
Will NameHeart register the domain for me?
No. We tell you where it stands and when it will realistically be available; you register it at any registrar you like. For contested names, a backorder service is your best shot, and we tell you when it matters.
How accurate are the drop windows?
Once a name is pending delete, the registry’s schedule is fixed and our window is tight. Earlier, it depends on the registrar and whether the owner renews, so the window is wider and says so. Our scored record is public.
Why does an expired .com show an expiry date next year?
At expiry, the .com, .net and .org registries renew the name automatically and the registrar decides within 45 days whether to keep it. That new date doesn’t mean the owner renewed. We track the real expiry and tell you which is which.
What does “likely registrable” mean?
The registry has no record of the name and it’s gone from the zone. A few names are reserved or priced as registry premium, so confirm the price at your registrar before celebrating.
Which endings do you watch?
.com, .net and .org today. More are on the way.
Do you track me?
No tracking cookies, no third-party scripts, no ad pixels. We count visits and lookups in our own database to see what’s working; those counts don’t record your IP address, browser or browsing history. Our server logs do include IP addresses, used only to stop abuse.
Where does your data come from?
Directly from each registry’s RDAP service, the TLD’s own nameservers, and registrar auction listings. Every status links to the registry response behind it.
